A 36-year-old barber, Samuel Boateng has reportedly abandoned his wife, Gloria Teye, at the Eastern Regional Hospital at Koforidua, following the birth of male triplets, a few years after delivering twins. This new set of triplets brings the couple's total number of children to seven, including a pair of twins and two other children. Gloria initially delivered the triplets at home by herself but was subsequently transported to a local health facility, where she was referred to the Regional Hospital, as reported by starrfm.com.gh. The report added that the new mother is currently on admission at the hospital, while the triplets are receiving care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Kangaroo mother care services. According to Gloria, her husband has refused to answer any of her calls after a nurse informed him that his wife had given birth to triplets.
