The Minority in Parliament did not take part in the approval of Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa's approval as Minister.

According to the Minority, they cannot be a party to the approval of Ablakwa because of his sins.

In a symbolic move to demonstrate how uninterested the Minority was, the leader demanded water and symbolically washed his hands to prove that they wanted nothing to do with the approval for the Foreign Affairs Minister.

Speaking after washing his hands, he said "Let me without equivocation state that we will proceed with the same abstinence.
