Parliament has formally approved the nominations of Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, and ten other individuals as ministers-designate following a rigorous debate and voting process.

The newly approved ministers-designate and their respective portfolios are as follows: -Kwabena Mintah Akandoh -Minister-Designate, Health -Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa -Minister-Designate, Foreign Affairs -Issifu Seidu-Minister-Designate, Climate Change and Sustainability -Charity Gardiner -Minister-Designate, Ahafo Region -Salisu Bi-Awuribe -Minister-Designate-Savannah Region -Wilbert Petty Brentum -Western North -Joseph Nelson -Western Region -Joseph Addae Akwaboa -Bono Region -Francis Owusu Antwi -Bono East Region -Felix Kwakye Ofosu -Minister of State-designate for Government Communications -Ekow Panyin Okyere Eduamoah -Minister-Designate, Central Region -Charles Lwanga Puozuing - Minister-Desinagate- Upper West Region However, the Minority vehemently opposed the approval of Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa for the Foreign Affairs portfolio.

Speaking on the floor, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin declared, "Give me water, we the minority wash our hands off the approval of Ablakwa, they should carry the sins of Ablakwa.

The entire 88 MPs of minority hereby reject the nominee for the Foreign Affairs portfolio and same should reflect in the Hansard."   Parliament approves four Ministerial nominees; Minority abstains on Sam George
