Braydon Manu has expressed his excitement after sealing a loan switch to German third-tier side VfL Osnabrück from Dutch Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle.
The 27-year-old Ghanaian winger is eager to make an impact as his new club fights to stay in the 3.Liga. "I already know VfL from the duels with Halle and Darmstadt, and of course, I also saw that the team found its way back to success before the winter break and has continued to do so since the break," Manu said after signing. "I now want to do my part to ensure that it stays that way and that we get as many points as possible together in order to avoid relegation at the end of the season." Osnabrück's sporting director, Dr Michael Welling, believes Manu's experience in Germany's lower leagues will be crucial. "Braydon has proven his qualities in attack both in the 3rd division and in the 2nd Bundesliga.
He knows our system well and expands our options in attack," he noted.
Manu, who switched nationality to Ghana in 2022, is yet to make his Black Stars debut.
