Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin says the Minority Caucus's opposition to the nomination of Sam George as Minister for Communications.
The caucus cited concerns over his past language in criticising former President Nana Akufo-Addo and Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament on February 4, 2025, Mr Afenyo-Markin argued that Sam George's previous remarks about these high-ranking figures were unbecoming of a ministerial nominee.
The Minority also insisted that Mr George was unable to provide documentation to support claims regarding sources of income among other factors.
