The Accra High Court has granted a 3-week adjournment in the Saglemi Housing project case involving former Works and Housing Minister Alhaji Collins Dauda and four others.
On Tuesday, February 4, the Prosecution led by Principal State Attorney, Hilda Craig notified the court that the Attorney- General had directed them to plead for more time to put their house in order. "The instruction from my superiors is that I appeal to the court for an adjournment to put our house in order.
We pray for two weeks," Craig noted.
Lawyers for the accused persons did not object to the plea except to pray for additional time explaining that they understood if the Attorney-General needed more time since there were a lot of dockets to assess.
