Vancouver Whitecaps have secured a deal with Le Havre AC for US international Emmanuel Sabbi, with a transfer fee just over â¬1 million, according to Foot Mercato.
Born in Schio, Italy to Ghanaian parents, Sabbi moved to the United States at a young age, where he spent his youth playing for Ohio Premier Soccer Club in Columbus, Ohio.
His professional career took off in Europe, and he joined Le Havre in 2023 from Danish club Odense Boldklub for a similar transfer fee.
During his first season in France, Sabbi became a regular, making 33 appearances, netting five goals, and providing one assist.
