The Minority Caucus of Ghana's , led by , has been on the neck of the Clerk of the Appointments Committee of the House, Gifty Jiagge Gobah.

The Minority Caucus has accused Jiagge Gobah of being behind the chaos that was seen in during the ministerial vetting on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

They claim that the Appointments Committee Clerk connived with members of the Majority Caucus to sneak in some ministers-designate who were not scheduled to be vetted.

Afenyo-Markin, who has personally and severally called Jiagge Gobah a member of the (NDC), attacked the clerk in the full glare of cameras, shaming her and calling her a partisan clerk who wants to destroy , especially after the vetting on Friday, January 31, 2025, started without members of the Minority Caucus seated.
