The Ghanaian Parliament has taken decisive steps to strengthen security measures in a bid to prevent suspended Members of Parliament (MPs) from accessing the chamber.

Following a recent brawl during a vetting session of the Appointments Committee, Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin announced the suspension of four MPs for two weeks.

The suspended MPs are Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, Alhassan Tampuli, and Jerry Ahmed Shaib.

In response to this development, Parliament's leadership has collaborated with security agencies to enhance protective protocols around the parliamentary building.
