On Monday, 3 February 2025, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, along with the Service Chiefs of the Ghana Armed Forces, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Minister of Defence, Dr.
Edward Omane Boamah, at the Ministry of Defence in Accra.
The visit was aimed at officially welcoming the minister and fostering closer ties between the Ministry of Defence and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
During their discussion, General Oppong-Peprah and the Service Chiefs pledged their full commitment to national security and the protection of Ghana's territorial integrity.
