Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Frederick Acheampong, has expressed deep concern over the violent incidents that disrupted the league match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko.
He described the situation as alarming and emphasised the need for swift action to prevent further occurrences.
Frederick Acheampong has warned that such violence, which tragically led to the death of Kotoko supporter Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Pooley, could discourage fans from attending matches.
Speaking to 3Sports after leading a GFA delegation to visit the bereaved family on Monday, he assured that the FA would strictly enforce the laws of the game to hold those responsible accountable. "This is a serious issue, and it will drive people away from our stadiums.
