The Acting Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company Limited, Adam Mutawakilu, has pledged to work with management and staff of the company to achieve the vision of President John Dramani Mahama to ensure that no community was left behind in terms access to potable water.
He emphasised that his commitment achieve the objective of the GWCL was to working collaboratively with all stakeholders in the sector.
Addressing staff in Accra for the first time in his new role following his appointment by the President, John Dramani Mahama, Mr Mutawakilu acknowledged the critical role of GWCL, adding that, "I may not have an extensive background in water management, but I bring experience in energy, finance, and governance." "And I am eager to learn from and work with the dedicated professionals at Ghana Water Company Limited," he stated.
The collective efforts of management and staff, he said, would be crucial in achieving the vision of the President and ensuring that no community was left behind in terms access to potable water.
