James Gunu, Volta Regional minister has called on the media particularly those in the region to proudly flaunt its credentials prominently to the outside world.
He said the region was now positioned to develop massively in sectors including agribusiness, manufacturing and tourism and there was the need for media which he deemed "partners in development" to support.
Gunu, said this when he interacted with the regional executives and some members of the Volta/Oti Chapter of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) in Ho.
The Regional Minister, who is a veteran media practitioner and a member of the GJA was grateful for the solidarity he had received from the people since his nomination through to his approval and pledged his commitment to meet the expectations of the people of the region.
