Sports Minister-designate Kofi Adams has assured that the murder of Asante Kotoko supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Nana Pooley, will be treated with the utmost seriousness by the police.

The fan tragically lost his life during the Ghana Premier League match between Nsoatreman FC and Kotoko at Nana Konamansah Park in Nsoatre.

Following the violent incident that led to Pooley's untimely death after he was stabbed during a brawl between supporters of the two clubs, Kofi Adams expressed his commitment to ensuring the full weight of the law is brought to bear on those responsible for the crime.

Speaking on the matter, Adams stated on Sporty FM, "This is murder [Nana Pooley's death].
