Plymouth Argyle have secured the services of English-Ghanaian midfielder Malachi Boateng on a permanent transfer from Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian.
The 22-year-old began his career at Crystal Palace and had loan spells at Queen's Park and Dundee before making a move to Hearts last summer.
Now, the younger brother of former Argyle player Hiram Boateng, Malachi heads to the South West of England on a three-and-a-half year contract, strengthening Head Coach Miron Muslic's midfield options.
Muslic expressed his enthusiasm for the signing: "Malachi provides further strength in depth to the squad but also fits the profile of player we are trying to sign perfectly.
