The Upper East Regional Communication Bureau of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued a clarification regarding recent media reports that misrepresented events during the welcome durbar held for newly appointed Upper East Regional Minister, Hon.
Donatus Akamugri Atanga, on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
The durbar, a culturally significant event, was held in Pwalugu and was intended to usher the minister into the region.
The celebration included a grand procession from Pwalugu to Bolgatanga, with traditional drumming, singing, and dancing, reflecting the local customs and heritage.
