The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has scheduled an emergency meeting with Premier League clubs for Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 11 am, following the violent and fatal incidents that occurred during the match between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Nsoatre over the weekend.
The meeting will address urgent security concerns and discuss measures to prevent such tragedies from recurring.
With the fatal stabbing of a Kotoko fan and the violent disruptions that marred the game, the GFA aims to collaborate with clubs on solutions to enhance stadium safety, manage fan behaviour, and improve emergency response protocols.
This meeting is a crucial part of the GFA's ongoing efforts to improve the safety and overall experience of football in Ghana.
