Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has said his Caucus has reported the suspension of its MPs to the party's national executives.
Bagbin suspended four MPs on Friday for their involvement in last Thursday's chaotic incident leading to the destruction of some state properties during the ministerial vetting.
At a press briefing on Monday, February 3, 2025, Afenyo-Markin noted that Alban Bagbin has violated the rights of the MPs for suspending them without a fair hearing.
According to him, if anything at all, diplomatic channels must first be utilised and not an outright suspension. "We have also escalated the matter to our party level.
