Renowned academic and political analyst, Professor Ransford Gyampo, has shared his initial hesitation upon being appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers Authority (GSA).

Gyampo revealed that while the appointment was unexpected, it required deep reflection before accepting the role in an interview on TV3's Hot Issues.
He said having spent most of his years at Legon as a lecturer, he did not want to sever ties with them. "It was a pleasant surprise.
