The National Youth Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has criticized the 24-hour economy policy proposed by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), labelling it as senseless. Mustapha argued that the NPP's flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, offers a more effective approach to addressing unemployment, particularly among the youth. Speaking on Eyewitness News, Mustapha dismissed the NDC's 24-hour economy policy as lacking substance and clarity. "If you take the issue of job creation, which the flagbearer takes very seriously, this is not about the senseless policy of 1-3-3, where you cannot tell where the jobs are going to come from. "The existing ones are what you want to reshuffle. This is not how empowering youth works, that is not the way to develop young people. "A policy that the originators cannot explain is senseless.
