The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has launched a full-scale investigation into the violent clashes that disrupted the Ghana Premier League match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko at the Nana Koramansah Park.
Tragically, a Kotoko fan, identified as Nana Pooley, lost his life after suffering multiple stab wounds during the chaos.
The violent scenes also left several others injured and caused significant property damage.
To establish the circumstances surrounding the incident, the GFA has tasked Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Lydia Donkor, who also chairs the GFA Security Committee, to lead the investigation in collaboration with her team and the FA Prosecutor.
