Asante Kotoko has confirmed the tragic passing of a club supporter, identified as Polley, who was stabbed multiple times following the team's Ghana Premier League clash against Nsoatreman FC on Sunday.

The incident occurred after Nsoatreman FC secured a 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in the Week 19 fixture of the Ghanaian top-flight league.
Tensions flared as some players exchanged blows after the final whistle, further escalating when spectators, alleged to be Nsoatreman FC supporters, threw objects at the Kotoko bench.
