On Thursday, January 30, 2025 chaos erupted during the vetting session of the Appointments Committee.
Th Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin commenting on the incident on the floor of the House on Friday, January 31, 2025 condemned the conduct of the MPs and announced a number of measures to deal with the matter.
Aside the suspension of some four MPs for two weeks, a seven member committee has also been constituted to probe the chaos.
