A WAEC official, Mr.
Joseph Agyemang, popularly known as Papa Bruno, is reported to have collapsed and died during heated exchanges with parents over withheld WASSCE results at the Sekondi office of the West African Examination Council (WAEC).
The incident occurred in the morning of Thursday, January 30, 2025, when frustrated parents and students who had been invited by WAEC for investigation had some confrontation with the Council's officials.
