President has nominated Dr.
Johnson Asiamah as the new Governor of the , pending approval by the Council of State.
The nomination follows a formal request by the current Governor, Dr. , to proceed on terminal leave ahead of his retirement on March 28, 2025.
Dr. , who has served as Governor since April 2017, successfully completed two full terms after being reappointed in March 2021.
