The Member of Parliament for Damongo, Samuel Abu Jinapor, has called for a public enquiry into violent incidents that occurred across the country after the December 7 election.

Contributing to a debate in Parliament on post-election violence on January 30, Abu Jinapor called for a public enquiry into these incidents. "We should call for public enquiry into the circumstances under which on the night of 7th December, 2024 through to 8th,9th and 10th December, 2024, after Ghanaians have gone and cast their votes, exercised their civic responsibility by casting their votes in peace and tranquility.
