The microphones and tables used by the Appointments Committee to address the floor and were damaged during the vetting of Minister of Health , have been repaired in less than 24 hours after the chaos unfolded.
New footage from the Parliament's vetting committee room, where the chaos erupted, shows the microphones and tables have been neatly repaired and set up ahead of Friday's vetting.
The room has also been organised to ensure a smooth process for the ministerial nominees scheduled to be vetted on Friday, January 31, 2025.
This latest development comes after the chaotic scenes between the Majority and Minority sides of the Appointments Committee, triggered by disagreements over the continuation of the vetting process.
