During his vetting by the Appointments Committee on Thursday, January 30, Sam George reiterated his staunch opposition to LGBTQ+ activities, emphasising that the bill is crucial for preserving Ghanaian cultural values and societal norms. "This is a matter of principle and national interest.

The Anti-Gay Bill is not about discrimination, but about preserving our moral and cultural values as a country," he explained.

He argued that while Ghana upholds human rights, some practices do not align with the nation's traditions and beliefs.
