Rashid Pelpuo, the Minister-Designate for Labour, Jobs, and Employment, has pledged to promote fairness and inclusivity in Ghana's job market if approved for the role.

Speaking during his vetting before Parliament's Appointments Committee on January 30, 2025, Mr Pelpuo emphasized his commitment to ensuring equal opportunities for all segments of the population.

He assured the committee that his policies would focus on bridging employment gaps and fostering an inclusive labour market that benefits all Ghanaians. "This is something we have taken care of in our manifesto called levelling up, creating a balance between female, male youth, adult and creating an avenue for all of them and creating equity in job creation and in employment avenues, "he stated.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to working with government institutions and stakeholders to address low productivity and salary disparities in the public sector.
