President has appointed Professor Ransford Edward Van Gyampo, a prominent academic and political analyst, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers Authority.
This appointment follows the tenure of Kwesi Baffour Sarpong, who was appointed by the previous Akufo-Addo administration.

Gyampo, a Professor of Political Science at the University of Ghana, brings his wealth of experience in governance, public administration, and policy research to the leadership of the Ghana Shippers Authority, an organisation central to regulating Ghana's shipping and logistics sector.
