There was some confrontation on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV as the host, Randy Abbey, introduced the panelists, including , the Ranking Member of the Finance Committee of Parliament; and Gideon Boako, the spokesperson for Dr. Bawumia and a representative of the NPP. The tension was palpable as Adongo directly addressed Boako, demanding an apology for derogatory comments he claimed the NPP man made three years ago that had to do with Ghana Amalgamated Trust Plc. Adongo insisted that Boako had used unprintable language against him and was now overdue in making amends as everything he said about it had come to pass. Gideon Boako responded by denying any recollection of the incident and asserting that he did not engage in using such language in his political career.
