The new Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Dr Bernice Makafui Brempong, has reiterated her commitment to work in line with the "vision of President John Dramani Mahama in building the Ghana we want." Commenting on her appointment by the President Mahama, she pledged to work collaboratively with stakeholders in order to enhance Ghana's business environment and increase Foreign Direct Investment to solidify the country's position as one of Africa's top investment destinations.
Dr Brempong is a results-driven professional, with a distinguished track record in business development, healthcare, and strategic partnerships.
She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Ghana's School of Pharmacy, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University College of London, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
A pharmacist by profession, Dr Brempong has established herself as an innovative business leader, and a global speaker, having participated and shared insights on healthcare innovation, business and economic development on both local and international platforms.
