Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has expressed his surprise at the advertisement of a vetting schedule for Thursday, January 30th, stating that the Minority was not informed.
Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Labour, Jobs and Employment, and seven other ministers-designate are scheduled to be vetted on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
In an interview on The Point of View on Channel One TV on Wednesday, Afenyo-Markin said the minority did not know about the list, highlighting concerns about the actions of the clerk responsible for the Appointments Committee. "I have become aware that the clerk had made some advertisement.
I have notified her that she has to tread cautiously the way she wants to do it because we were in government she was the clerk to the committee.
