Tingawura Alhaji Seidu Sampson, former District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Bole Bamboi, has filed his nomination forms for election as Savannah Regional representative to the Council of State.
He submitted his forms to the Savannah Regional Electoral Commission office in Damongo on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, following the announcement made by the Electoral Commission (EC) that the election of Regional Representatives to the Council of State will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, across all regional capitals.
The Commission has invited interested individuals to submit their nominations to the respective EC Regional Directors during working hours between Tuesday, January 28, and Friday, January 31, 2025.
Tingawura Alhaji Seidu Sampson, who served as DCE from 2009 to 2013, after a brief review of his documents, was cleared by the Deputy EC Director, David Acheampong, to contest.
