The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has overhauled the Black Stars' technical team following an extensive review of the team's performance during last year's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Ghana failed to qualify for the 2025 AFCON following a poor qualifying campaign which saw the Black Stars record no win.
The experienced German manager Winfried Anton Schäfer, a 2002 AFCON-winning coach with Cameroon, has been named the Technical Advisor of the Black Stars.
Schäfer, who also takes on the role of Director of Football for the GFA, will collaborate closely with Head Coach Otto Addo to build a formidable team.
