MP for Ada Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe-Ghansah, has appealed to Parliament to allow the Women's Caucus to advise the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Commission, Emeafa Hardcastle following the altercation with the Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, and during the appointment committee sitting on Tuesday January 28.

Her comment was after the Minister of Education and Tamale South Member of Parliament Haruna Iddrisu had pleaded with Mr Annoh-Dompreh to allow this matter to rest.

Mr Iddrisu said on the floor of Parliament after the official complaint Annoh-Dompreh made to the Speaker that ""To the Honourable Minority Whip [Frank Annoh-Dompreh], I am pleading with you that, because she is a woman, and you know Ghanaian society and our patriarchal values, forgive her." But commenting on this matter also on the floor, Comfort Doyoe said "We should just leave this case so that, as a women's caucus, we can invite her and advise her appropriately." Mr Annoh-Dompreh, lawmaker for Nsawam Adoagyiri took offense at the description of his caucus as 'micro' by the Petroleum Commission CEO.

In response, the Minority Chief Whip allegedly threatened to take Hardcastle on. "You are threatening me that you will take me on because you are who?
