A state- of- the-art full mission bridge stimulator was inaugurated at the Nutekpor Naval Training Centre on Monday to facilitate the training of a world class Naval personnel in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region.
The modern training facility was a collaboration between the government of Ghana, which provided the infrastructure at the cost of GH¢5 million which housed the equipment, while the Royal Danish government provided the technology from Wacilla Voyage at the cost USD1,370,000.
The full mission bridge stimulator, the most complicated training facility in the Africa sub-region, had 120 degree arc park stimulator, and a server room to promote effective training of personnel.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, the Legal Adviser to President John Mahama, Ms Marietta Agyeiwaa Brew, who also represented the President, lauded the sound relationship between Ghana and the Royal Danish government over the years.
