Some social media users have criticized the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Commission, Emeafa Hardcastle, over her altercation with the Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh.
A video of the incident, shared by Channel One TV, shows the MP taking offense at Hardcastle's description of his caucus in Parliament as "micro" during a sitting of the Appointments Committee on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
In response, the Minority Chief Whip allegedly threatened to take action against Hardcastle.
However, she did not take his remarks lightly and later referred to him as "silly." Reacting to the incident, some social media users have described Hardcastle's behaviour as arrogant. "The arrogance has started ooo," one user commented. "Emefa Hardcastle has taken her uncouth behavior to Parliament, so uncultured," another wrote. "This behavior from the lady is very disrespectful.
