Nsawam Adoagyiri Lawmaker Frank Annoh-Dompreh has said that the Minority cannot take lightly the allegation that members of the Appointment Committee take money from ministerial nominees before approving them.

To that end, he wanted the vetting of the nominees suspended until after the allegation is dealt with by the Committee. "The internment is not to obstruct government business.

These allegations are one too many.

We value our reputation and so we cannot vet today.  If the majority does not value their reputation, the minority does," he said when the committee sat to vet Defence Minister designate Dr Edward Omane Boamah on Tuesday January 28.
