President has appointed Abdulai Bashiru Dapilah as the Acting Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to replace COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah.
Abdulai Bashiru Dapilah's appointment, which took effect on January 27, 2025, is subject to the acceptance and approval of the Board of EOCO, per the constitution.
A communique signed by Dr.
Callistus Mahama, the Secretary to the President, further instructed Bashiru Dapilah to confirm his acceptance of the new appointment within a fourteen-day period upon receiving it.
