Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has commended the outgone majority leadership for their instrumental role in bolstering the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) performance ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Ayariga lauded their effective leadership and unwavering opposition to the ruling government during their tenure as leaders of the minority caucus over the past two years.

The previous leadership included Finance Minister Dr.

Cassiel Ato Forson (former leader), Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah (Deputy Leader and Minister-designate for Lands and Natural Resources), and Kwame Governs Agbodza (former Chief Whip and Minister of Roads and Highways).
