Political analyst Samuel Boateng has described the manifesto promises highlighted by Vice as too recycled promises, which our political leaders have failed to deliver over the years. These promises, he argued, have been repeated throughout the years, but when our leaders have the opportunity to rule, they fail to deliver on them. Speaking on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, the saddest part is that our political leaders know our problems or challenges confronting the country, but they lack the political will to address them. "Our political leaders know the challenges confronting the country and are aware of the solutions that can help in resolving these challenges. However, they are not prepared to resolve these challenges with the known solutions. The other point that is troubling is that when they assume office, they refuse to be effective leaders, and so our problems are now being recycled every election year," he explained.
