In a move to foster educational and cultural collaboration, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana and the University of Seychelles (UniSey) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding, at the Anse Royal Campus, UniSey, in Seychelles, marking a historic step in strengthening academic and research ties between the two institutions.
The MoU covers student and staff exchange, joint research, programme development with both institutions jointly designing academic programmes tailored to global needs, and sharing of resources, a statement issued and copied The Ghanaian Times in Accra said.
The partnership is built on shared values of academic excellence, innovation, and cultural exchange.
Both universities have committed to working together in order to advance knowledge and address critical challenges in education and research.
