The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano North Constituency, Eric Nana Agyemang Prempeh, has called for significant increase in the amount of money allocated to a dedicated fund used for disaster management.
Contributing to a debate in Parliament after the vetting of Minister-designate for Interior, Prempeh called on the sector minister to identify additional sources for the disaster fund. "Mr Speaker, I want to draw Hon Muntaka's attention to Act 927 which states among other things, there shall be national disaster fund.
