Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has reaffirmed his commitment to passing the Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill, also known as the Anti-LGBTQ Bill, into law by 2025.

Addressing traditional leaders and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on January 26, Bagbin emphasized his dedication to protecting Ghanaian cultural and moral values.

He boldly stated, "I can lose my life for this cause," expressing the gravity of his personal commitment.

Bagbin revealed that he plans to seek advice from the Minister for Justice and Attorney General to determine the next steps for advancing the bill.
