The Volta Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mawutor Agbavitor, has urged party members and executives to be measured in their expectations of the President and his government.
Speaking during the President's thank-you tour to Ho on Friday, he reassured the people that the future remained bright for the region. "The sun will surely shine high on the Volta Region," he stated, expressing gratitude to the President for his appointments so far and for entrusting sons and daughters of the region with significant roles.
President John Dramani Mahama embarked on the thank-you tour starting from the Volta Region to express his gratitude to the people for their overwhelming support and votes during the elections.
HE expressed appreciation to them for their overwhelming support in voting him back to power, describing the region as a beacon of democracy and a cornerstone of the NDC.
