Security analyst, Adam Bonaa, has criticised the appointment of Maame Tiwaa Addo Danquah as the Executive Director of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO), describing it as a misstep.

Speaking on Starr Today with Efia Tutuwaa Danso, Bonaa argued that her appointment was politically-motivated and not based on merit or competence. "It was a mistake because, you see, it's not for the president to satisfy Maame Tiwaa's ego.

She felt she was too big to take up the position at the Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPS).

She wasn't happy with that role, so they felt they had to give her something better.
