Following a news report that a long truck had fallen off the Achimota Overhead onto the road below it after the driver reportedly applied the brakes suddenly to avoid a vehicle ahead, Fan Milk has provided insight into the matter.
According to Fan Milk, the truck involved in the accident belongs to one of its third-party logistics partners, Adwenpa Transport Services Limited.
The ice cream and frozen dairy products manufacturer stated categorically that the truck was not carrying any product at the time the unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
In a press release sighted by , Fan Milk said Adwenpa Transport Services Limited is collaborating with the authorities to review the incident. "We are aware of an incident that occurred at 6:00 PM today, 25th January 2025, at Achimota overhead bridge involving a truck belonging to one of Fan Milk's third-party logistics partners, Adwenpa Transport Services Limited.
