James Kofi Annan, the Effutu NDC Parliamentary Candidate in the 2020 and 2024 elections, has issued a statement condemning a recent demonstration by some NDC party faithful in the Effutu Constituency.
The demonstration demanded that President John Dramani Mahama, consider Annan for an appointment.
Annan in a statement issued on Saturday January 25 expressed his disapproval of the demonstration and disassociated himself from the actions of the youth involved.
He revealed that he had received intelligence about the planned disruption of a meeting of the Constituency Executives in his office and had advised against holding the meeting there.
