The Office of COP Nathan Kofi Boakye (Rtd), Director of Security Operations at the Presidency, has issued a statement denying allegations that he instigated chaos at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) Terminals 2 and 3.
According to the statement, the Director of Security Operations at the Presidency, actually intervened to restore order and prevented further disturbances caused by a group of protesters , ensuring the safety of passengers, staff, and property.
The statement noted that COP Nathan Kofi Boakye (RTD), Director of Security Operations at the Presidency is a well-respected figure in Ghana, having served in the Ghana Police Service for over 30 years before retiring in April 2023 .
During his tenure, he earned a reputation for being a dedicated public servant committed to upholding peace and security.
